As a therapist, my mission is to take the personal struggles and relationship issues that we all face and help transform them into opportunities for growth. My bicultural background provides me with insight which I am able to use to help my clients manage a range of issues. I utilize a client-centered, collaborative approach so you always feel in control of the process. I work with my clients to better understand their reactions to life and heal the emotional wounds they are experiencing.
Together, we create and reevaluate the goals for therapy along the way. Whether I’m working with individuals, couples, children, or their parents – I trust and respect that you know what’s best for you. Your path might be blocked, or you may feel stuck in the moment, but that is where my years of training and experience help encourage you.
My journey towards becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist began as a student at UConn were I obtained my BA in Psychology. I then earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University.
